14 years old, but one wouldn't know it as you watch this young Long Island New York rocker command the stage. With the influences of Hendrix, John Lennon,E Street Band, Kurt Cobain,VernonReid, EricClapton,Angus Young and Lenny Kravitz, Jesse is one of a new generation of young talent attempting to bring rock and roll back to it's glory days. As early as 4 years old, Jesse began showing interest in musical performances that his parents would watch at home. He would attempt to duplicate drum solos and vocal performances of great rock bands and singers. His rhythm was extraordinary at this young age. At age 6, he spotted an old acoustic guitar in the family basement and almost immediately amazing things started to happen. Introduced to some basic guitar chords and some Hendrix videos, Jesse began to master some classic rock tunes. He shocked his family by tuning his guitar by ear. Music teachers were brought to his home and some considered him a prodigy and suggested that formal music training might stifle him at such a young age. Things were kept "light" and music teachers were brought in just to help him learn songs that interested him. At age 7, he performed for the first time on stage with an adult rock band playing "Last Time" by the Rolling Stones. At 8 years old, he was featured on News 12 Long Island and began appearing in local rock clubs. A local publication dubbed him "the boy wonder." At 9 years old, he stepped onto the stage of The Downtown rock club in Farmingdale New York and stunned the crowd with his performance of " Welcome to the Jungle" and "Crazy Train". At 10 years old, Jesse was invited to the Sam Ash Guitar Competition. He competed with players 2 to 4 times his age. Playing a 5 minute medley of some of rock's greatest songs, he placed in the top three, but received the first place vote of a master guitar performer. Jesse has fronted legendary players, Randy Coven on bass guitar and John Macaluso on drums(who have both toured with Vai and Malmsteen). Jesse has completed two originals,"Cutter(Sinning the Skin)" and "Timeless Rider".These songs demonstrate a creative depth well beyond his 14 years. "Cutter" was recently featured on New York's Classic Rock Station Q104.3 on the Out Of The Box Show with Jonathan Clarke. Jesse has been direct opening act for Lukas Rossi(winner of Rockstar Supernova),Ryan Star (Atlantic Records, CBS Rockstar Supernova) and most recently, Eddie Money. Jesse is now focusing on writing and performing originals.
